CORONA VIRUS

IMPORTANT NOTICE

TO ADHERE TO THE GOVERNMENT'S CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 PANDEMIC INSTUCTIONS, THERE WILL BE NO MEETINGS HELD BY THE PARISH COUNCIL FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE UNTIL THE RESTRICTIONS ARE WITHDRAWN. MANY COUNCIL'S ARE INFORMALY CONDUCTING THEIR BUSINESS USING A VARIETY OF MEANS IN THE CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCES. THE PARISH COUNCIL ARE CURRENTLY ENGAGING IN THE USE OF EMAILS IN REGARD TO ITEMS REQUIRING THE COUNCIL'S APPROVAL.

THE PARISH COUNCIL ARE GRATEFUL FOR THOSE VOLUNTEERS IN THE PARISH WHO ARE HELPFULLY  ENSUREING THAT ASSISTANCE IS GIVEN TO RESIDENTS THAT REQUIRE HELP.

The parish of Widdrington Station and Stobswood is part of the administrative area of Northumberland County Council.

The parish is served by seven elected councillors whose task it is to represent the views of electors, and promote development in the interests of the parish while delivering local services.

Parish Council meetings are held on the second Monday of every Month commencing at 6.30 pm in the Widdrington Station Community Centre, Grange Road, Widdrington Station. Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings.
